Weather has been wet on and off for days in Portland. Matt Kline just called and said his fundraiser bowl jam is on for tomorrow in Grants Pass. He can tarp the bowl if necessary. Bring your own beer and meat for the barbecue.
Be a good neighbor and come help out for a couple of hours at the Pier Park Pickup SOLV event tomorrow from 9am – 1 pm. We’ll be doing trash pickup and graffiti coverup at the skatepark. Breakfast treats from Tulip Pastry Shop and hot coffee from Starbucks. It should be a nice morning to hang out at the park anyway.
Yesterday I decided to redo the fire jump in honor of the anniversary of the groundbreaking for the bowl. Finally got a break in the rain and actually got a session in before the precipitation returned. Video after the jump.

I got there kind of late because we had the Pier Park Pickup volunteer event in the morning. I didn’t see much in the way of rad skating but the parking lot was full of people.
